Retin-A.

Retin-A (tretinoin topical) is a highly efficient drug efficient in the treatment of acne in patients that need to get their acne under control. If you have an allergic reaction – stop using Retin-A and immediately contact your doctor. The following symptoms are possible: hives, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, and difficulty breathing. Retin-A is a form of vitamin A, so you will need to consider that if you want to start taking any vitamins. It's best to discuss your treatment, schedule of taking Retin-A and other aspects with your health care provider. The following medications can be reported if you want your treatment to go as planned: sulfa drugs, chlorpromazine, diuretics, prochlorperazine, promethazine, tetracycline, and antibiotics. These drugs can add to the side effect caused by Retin-A and therefore must be reported directly to your health care provider. Make sure you always apply Retin-A in the evening, once a day before going to bed unless directed otherwise by your doctor it's important to follow all the recommendations of your health care provider as they are based on the assessment of you condition and are tailored to your individual needs.
